Definitly reminiscent of Tina Turner, both in apperance and stage style is Connie Garrett, also known as “The Creole Sista of Soul” the hottest female singer and impersonator in the South!
Connie posesses a big and powerful voice and uses it to it’s fullest!!
For the past 23 years, Garrett has performed as the lead singer for the popular Rhythm & Blues band, Krossfyre. Besides playing for local fairs and festivals, Connie along with Krossfyre, has opened concerts for Robert Palmer, Morris Day and The Time, The Gap Band, Midnight Star, The SOS Band, Robin Thicke and other well-known acts. She also performed on stage with Jon B and Ron Isley.
A few years ago, Connie impersonated Tina Turner at a Krossfyre gig and fans have not let her stop ever since.
Todat, Connie performs weekly as Tina all over the states and is “The Best” and only Tina Turner Tribute Artist in the south and soon to be in the impersonator industry.
