Bob and Bill Macy have always played the songs just as they had remembered them making their shows something easy to remember and hard to forget. Stripped down, no frills, no light shows and no explosions…just good music played and sung well at a volume that’s good for everyone.
Crusing down the road in the 1960’s you couldn’t turn on your radio without hearing the simple strains of “Mrs.Robinson,””A Hard Days Night” or “I Can’t Get No (Satisfaction)”.And in the 1970’s we were singing along to songs like “Take It Easy,””Peaceful Easy Feeling.” “Stuck In The Middle With You” or “The Joker.” Radio pop rock classics everyone has heard before.
Bob and Billy’s tribute to the classics, cover a selection of tunes that are familiar to the radio listening audience. The two focus on dynamics and vocal harmonies to set them apart from your average loud, hard hitting bands. But don’t get me wrong, when these guys need to rock it up, they can keep up with the best of them. Mostly influenced by the 1960;s & 70’s Classics like the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and the Eagles, they also play songs from CCR, The Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, ELO, Neil Young, Grang Funk, Cracker, Lynard Skynyrd, Bad Company, and many more.
